We have also proved that random arrays of our Au-CNT-hybrid samples

supported on IME chips are able to detect small amounts of a hydrocarbon gas as acetylene with a fast response and a fast recovery time. These sensors show a linear response with respect to gas concentration in the case of acetylene, whereas in the detection of hydrogen, they display a poorer sensitivity and linearity.
